ABOUT FOURWAYS FOODS

Fourways Foods was formed to create a centre for local food and to provide support to local producers, retailers and the hospitality sectors. A full range of locally produced food and drink is supplied from the "One Stop Shop" outlet in Amble.

OWNERSHIP

Fourways Foods was formed in November 2005 as an Amble Development Trust Initiative to support and enhance the use of local foods and drink. Supported by funding from Leader+ in England, a distribution centre has been established in Amble.

Russell has worked in food manufacturing and distribution with major companies over a number of years.

OUTREACH

Fourways Foods work closely with educational facilities to provide a range of training courses and seminars. We arrange and deliver BASIC HYGIENE, HACCP, HEALTH AND SAFETY training. We work closely with nutritionists and environmentalists to promote healthy eating, using organic products where possible.
